Monitor Technician – Telemetry Tech

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms continuously through telemetry systems and report abnormalities promptly to the healthcare team.
- Document rhythm changes accurately and ensure timely communication of critical findings to nurses or physicians.
- Assist in setting up telemetry equipment for new patients and ensure proper lead placement for accurate monitoring.
- Troubleshoot telemetry equipment issues and ensure devices are functioning correctly at all times.
- Maintain detailed records of monitored data and comply with hospital policies regarding patient confidentiality and safety standards.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in hospital telemetry units or specialized cardiac care areas where continuous monitoring is required for patients with heart conditions or post-surgical recovery needs.
