Ethos Medical Staffing sold to Plano, Texas-based StaffDNA, a deal that comes with big plans for local growth
Only some of Ethos’ assets were acquired, including the 10-year-old Lenexa company’s staff and client contracts. StaffDNA will not take over the Ethos office space in Lenexa, and Ethos employees will work fully remotely following the acquisition.
Financial details were not disclosed.
“I was looking to partner with a staffing company or a technology company to better service our clients and our clinicians in this ever-changing world,” Ethos founder and CEO Jeff Stoner said. “(StaffDNA CEO) Sheldon Arora offered everything in a full package, and, of course, we knew each other.”
The pair met around nine years ago at conferences and work events for the health care staffing industry. Ethos was Arora’s client for some time. Arora and Stoner stayed in contact and reconnected in early September to discuss collaboration. StaffDNA saw Ethos as crucial to growing the firm’s presence in the Midwest and hoped Stoner would join its executive team.
